FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Erin Eastburn a young girl traveling in France with her family, begins twirling through the streets of Paris as she realizes for the first time the amazing and inspiring world of fashion.

Eastburn, a former tomboy turns to the glitz and glamour of the fashion industry as she aspires to become a style editor for a magazine while contributing her time to bettering her community.

“I want to ultimately be the liaison between the home and the production,” Eastburn said.

Before the trip to Paris, Eastburn had been a “complete tomboy.” In the sixth grade Eastburn realized how many job opportunities are available in the fashion industry after flipping through a style magazine.

A dedicated and inspired individual, Eastburn continues to push for success. However, when asked what is the one word that describes you? she confidently responded, “Real.” The combination of motivation and a down to earth persona is evident in Eastburn’s mannerisms and speech.

Not only does Eastburn have a passion for fashion, but she is also committed to philanthropy. Currently she is the Vice President for Philanthropy for her sorority as well as the Community Service Chair for Panhellenic.

If she could change one thing in the world it would be to change “people’s selfishness.” She thinks that people need a “hint of reality” and that the world would be better if people just help one another.

What lies ahead for Eastburn is most likely a life that will make her inspirations; her mom and dad, proud, and a career that may even get nods from those as high up as her idol Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue.

  1. I really like the perspective you took on this! The beginning is really great, starting the profile with how my inspiration started was a great idea. I also like how you organized the rest of the story and included my volunteer/philanthropic experience.

There are a couple grammatical mistakes, including Anna Winter which is actually spelled Anna Wintour. I guess it's always good to double check names with google etc. Also the opening line is a little confusing, the format of that first sentence could be reversed or moved to a second sentence after an informative sentence.

Other than that it looks great! Thanks!
