FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Chadwick Bowman has led a traveled life that would make Hunter S. Thompson jealous—whom is coincidentally a favorite author of his. Born in Denver, he spent a year on Big Island in Hilo, Hawaii before relocating to his current Old Town abode, affectionately named “The Underground Fortified Compound.”
But what makes Chadwick Bowman special is not where he has been. Rather it’s who he is: a unique blend of American tradition and originality. Just as soon as he plays the convincing role of conventional student, Bowman reminds his peers that he fits to no mold.
He lettered in four sports during high school, but believes that his finest accolade is being the self-proclaimed “Best Backyard Quarterback of All Time.” What’s more is that his friends unanimously agree.
Bowman has a quiet demeanor as a college student, but says his manner was not always at rest.
“My mouth certainly got me in a lot of trouble during high school,” said Bowman.
Unfortunately for the ring-free ladies, formerly rebellious-turned-serene Chadwick Bowman is staunchly averse to relationships. He instead enjoys occupying his time with backpacking in the woods and palling around with Tulo, his dog of the Rottweiler-Pitbull breed.
But perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Chadwick Bowman is the road ahead of him. He has already gained a Sociology degree at the ripe age of 23 and is now pursuing a degree in Sociology. With so much already accomplished, it’s not surprising that Bowman is giving back to the community through teaching. He currently helps out as a substitute for Kindergarten through 12th graders.
The students will have an easy time finding laid-back Mr. Bowman’s good graces. Just as long as they don’t ask about women.
I enjoyed the story and how you painted my easy going persona.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job making the story flow, especially since the information I gave you was pretty sporatic.
-One thing, you repeat Sociology in the second to last graph. I have my degree in Soc. and am studying Journalism.
